Hej, I'm Meera

I moved to Malmö eight years ago and have been photographing families here ever since — first friends of friends, then their neighbours, and now a small, steady stream of people who found me on Instagram.

I work alone, with natural light and very little gear. That keeps sessions quiet, which matters enormously with a newborn asleep on your chest or a three-year-old deciding whether to trust me.

I shoot at Ribersborg and through Slottsparken in the last golden hour, in my small studio, or in your own home where the light comes through your own windows. Cultural and festive sessions — saris, kimonos, christening gowns, heirloom jewellery — are some of my favourite work.
